About me

In 2008, I first learned about Nantucket baskets in the magazine "VERY" and was shocked to hear that "there is such a beautiful basket!".
After that, while having a small child, I learned how to make a basket with the help of many teachers and students. Although it was a fulfilling instructor activity, I was ill (later surgery) and wanted to return to the position of a medical professional, so I once left the job of a basketball instructor.

Around that time, I encountered lacquering and began to want to create works as one of my own expressions.

Since 2019, I have been involved in medical care and have been a modest writer / lecturer for Nantucket baskets.
